I started watching with UFC 1, then in about ‘98 I ended up with one of those descrambled cable boxes and me and the roommates were either watching UFC and Pride PPVs or playing Tony Hawk Pro Skater.

I didn’t even have a computer. I always drag my feet with newer technology. Friend of mine I often watched fights with told me about it. For a while I was going to the library where you could pay like $4 an hour or something to use the Internet until I finally got a computer.

My join date was 1/12/10, but started lurking way earlier than that. I was under the impression you had to pay for an account until my friend saw me browsing and asked why I wasn’t signed in. I didn’t even know he watched MMA and was a UGer.

It wasn’t my first account (or first 3 lol) but I had a 10’ account that was my longest running OG account ever (2015 I think?) so I identify with the 10ers and did my part to contribute to their reputation anyways lol.

No way Bro! The first UFC I watched on PPV was UFC 8 David Vs Goliath and I used to rent all the old UFCs at the video store. But the timing of when I found this place IS suspect haha.
2005…I was waiting for my ex-wife (then girlfriend) to get ready to go out, came across mma.tv and was hooked. I lurked until they wouldn’t let you read poll threads unless you had an account, then I joined. 19 years on that site until the Altaggots ruined it.
But our new home kicks ass so it’s all good.
