Not sure if you ever watch the femmes, I don’t, but I just couldn’t get enough of that French countryside and caught the last 3 days of it. It ended with a final day win like I’ve never seen before and probably won’t again - Kasia Niewiadoma by FOUR SECONDS over last year’s winner. She’s got spunk and is Taylor Phinney’s new wife.
Worth the watch in the off season if anyone missed it.
I didn’t watch but heard there was a lot of controversy in the women’s race. One team basically dumped support for their leader while she was in yellow‽

Yep. She came back from a bad wreck with zero team to help her. Lost the Yellow that day. Then fought on to win final stage but four seconds short of getting Yellow back. It was a great watch.

Yeah I never heard any explanation why the team never came back for the member wearing Yellow. It was bizarre.
