jesse porter gets dropped by GEO…

not sure how much longer he has… always been there or thereabouts domestically…

reffing has been pretty awful across the board…

shocking i know…

finals kick off at the top of the hour…

it has been a bit of a tough watch so far, but, hoping for some competitive medal matches…

my guy crosby picks up the gold at 55kg… first time in a long time i have seen him wrestle an entire tourney without breaking mentally… good for him…

randon picked up the win over dominican republic at 60kg in an ugly match that the refs decided at the end… did not feel right to me at all…

in the bronze at 60kg, zane richards bullied grasso from france to a 6-1 victory… no greco technique at all just grown man strength and pace… grasso was a cadet silver and took 5th at U20 this year… max totally handled richards at vegas 2 matches while max was severaly compromised… otto teched grasso in about 15 seconds 3-4 years ago in estonia…

missed most of the 63kg finals… khazim from russia beats Ojala from finland 6-4… appeared to be a very good match and entertaining, but, was watching bronze at 60kg… i am pretty sure khazim is a russian born fighter that max trained with a bit last year… max said he had never been bombed as hard a shtat… Ojala was U23 Euro gold… gonna haver to go back and catch a replay…

amryn nutter cruised through his round robin bracket and teched his guy in the gold medal match… not much competition, but, nutter looked good none the less…

peyton robb vs france at 72… otto beat this france guy at 67kg at U23 worlds… he looks huge at a 72kg +2 tourney 2 weeks later…

robb up 2-0 at the break on a passivity and a late step out…

franc gets him put down in the second and gets the turn… lots of scrambling and picks up another exposure but legs are called… 3-2 france… lots of handfighting but france just steers robb away for the gold…

obviously robb he is a scrappy wrestler… 3X AA… and he has been trying this greco thing for a minute… just not sure if he is ever going to break through…

greco is not folk…

Some matches tonight.

Bucknell at Va Tech on ACCNX now.

Stanford at OK State in about 30 minutes on ESPN+

i would love to see some of the matches from Okie state and stanford…

particularly that swiderski vs valencia…

super curious

He’s the ONLY one who is still young enough and talented enough to make a dent.

Starts at 8:00 Eastern. Watching Virginia Tech vs. Bucknell to get ready.

VT’s Ventresca looks like a 30 year old man at this point. Bald spot on top and everything.

he is bar none the best greco coach in this country…

there is not a close second…

the boys are headed to somewhere in kentucky over thanksgiving to work with mo at some camp…

they don’t know where or anything about it other than Mo told them to be there…

Mo one of the best ever to do it…

This Knox/Figs match has been wild so far.

Valencia with an MD over Swiderski who was never really in the match.

cardenas is a true competitor…

or at least was…

robideau impressed me at the open this year but i just can’t remember why

Lockett wins 2-1 over Garvin. Had a great ride in the 2nd, didn’t look like a freshman on top.

it sounded like lockett won by being the best at not wrestling…
