Whoo hoo! I just received my Nationals Tickets. All session pass. Ordered through PSU/NLC delivered via AXS app (versus Ticketmaster). I am in 210 Row 7 - not as prime as last year’s seats but still good ones! This will make 18 straight years I have been blessed to attend. Getting hella expensive though. Just hoping the weather in Cleveland doesn’t interfere.
Just a heads up for those who are anxiously awaiting their tickets - they are coming shortly.

i hate to be a whiny bitch, but, whoever is in charge of the mat cameras for UWW continually chooses the absolute worst times to switch to coach corner shot this entire day…

hard hand fight first 30 seconds… lee with some monster clubs…
dives in on a single and RUS butt down trying to defend… attempts chest wrap but does not get the exposure… lee ends up with the TD… 2 laces and then 2 guts and it is 10-0 tech…

desanto and NATO coming up in a few…
NATO kinda bowls D over and gets a front head cradle but can not convert and D stands up and grbas a single drive NATO to the edge and does a nifty little trip for feet to back 4-0…
on the restart D grabs an inside ankle… picks NATO up drives to the edge for another TD 6-0…
NATO with a front head late and D just drives him to the edge for the step out… 7-0 at the break…
NATO with hands to the face and picks up a caution and 1 early second… 8-0
desanto being very patient on his feet… never seen him actually work any other strategy other than bulldog…
NATO can not get through his head hands… ref warns for desanto to circle…
match ends 8-0…
really impressed with how desanto wrestled today…
it is a little strange how Iowa’s college guys look so meh while their RTC guys all look so much better lately…

not much going on the feet… vito has one quality elbow pass but nothing comes from it…

immediately off the whgistle ECU goes outside single to double and blasts vito feet to back OOB 6-1…
vito picks ECU up immediately off the restart and then tries to whirly bird him OOB but only gets the 2… 6-3
vito high C and gest the TD as ECU tries to bail out and vitto picks up a turn… 7-6
vito single to double and gets the TD and ECU immediately reverses… 9-7 1:30
post level change to a single leg shelved and vito takes him OOB for the stepo out… 10-7
vito bad shot and ECU almost gets the go behind… vito squares up and takes him OOB 11-7 30 left
vito dives in on a shot and continue to work as time expires…

MISSED PANTS OPENING, BUT, HE IS UP 2-0 IN THE FIRST 30 SECONDS…
pants was in a russian for a minute and posting on the face while circling out… icks up a passive…
has a level change but KGZ stuffs it nicely…
still 2-0 at the break
pants has a nice double attempt early then snatches up a single… KGZ really staunch defense and doesnt give up anything… blood time
lots of active hand fighting and couple of half attempts from pants… KGZ taking ground for sure… pants o nthe clock…
2-1 about 50 seconds left…
pants keeps backing up and KGZ gets him front head and goes really low chest wrap for two and holds him pretty static to go up 3-2 late… then they give pants 2 to go back in the lead 4-3 as time expires…
KGZ tosses the brick…
challenge won… as KGZ never gives up his lock and pants never gets fully behind…

dake in on good shots and good scrambles but just does not seem to havr the HP to finish them on this dude…
AZE put on the clock…
1-0 dake…
good level change but cna not convert…
that is the way the first ends…
hand fighting starting to pick… dake now on the clock…
1-1 AZE on criteria…
AZE takes him to the edge but can not get the step out… dake warned for fleeing…
and now dake on the clock again
2-1 a minute left…
dake getting pushed aed around… gives up the step out… 3-1 AZE 30 left
dake slowing dow3n… tries low single but just does not have enough left to really get close to finshing…
dake still pushing with 12 seconds left… AZE ends up underneath dakes chest wrap position… AZE tries to bail out of it and dake gets the go behind and captures the ankles with literally tenths left…
ref does not award… brick comes in from the us
dake thinks he has it… looked like it to me…
wow… challenge lost… they say no control… 4-1 AZE bronze…
overall not too shabby a day…
Iowa responsible for the only gold medal again…
both lee and desanto looked very good…
good to see vito looking healthy and wrestling again… he looked so awful at trials last year against jax…
i really think dake is just too small for 86KG for the top guys internationally…
