JFC…
i made the mistake of trying to listen to FRL for the first time in years…
saw they were going to preview RAF and was a little curious what they are saying about the promotion overall…
those nerds are insufferable…

ha…
even askren has jumped on the step out band wagon…
it is only a matter of time, the call for the step out is just too strong now…
We need a STEP out rule but not a PUSH out rule. I do not favor a physicallly stronger wrestler spending the entire match trying to shove his opponent out of bounds. Heavyweight matches would just turn into Sumo. If you are fleeing the mat or refusing to engage and step out you need to be penalized. On the three point takedown, it has all but eliminated the reversal because that’s only two points. All guys do on bottom now is try to stand up. I like to see switches, sit outs, granbies, gazonies, etc.
that does not happen in the international styles…
it will not happen in folk…
it will just force the constant backing up in folk to finally be penalized… they will have to actually wrestle on the mat and not use the out of bounds for protection…
it will make it a far superior product…
crookham officially in the portal…
is there a public link for the portal???
I think so, I have it bookmarked somewhere. Post it if I find it.
rutgers be good fit if he healthy
I feel like I’ve seen it before but a search earlier found nothing…
I just usually follow the portal tracker that Flo puts up, but they haven’t started this years yet that I have seen.
there is no such thing as “minor” surgery…
I had a minor operation years ago that resulted in the absolute worst few years of my life. I went in for a hernia operation and woke up with pain in my nuts that lasted years. 15-20 operations later, I’m about 80% of what I was, but can never really train again as a result of all the injuries from operations.
A guy I went to school with went in for elbow surgery, had a reaction to the anesthesia and died. Anything can happen.
A guy I know was perfectly healthy. He had surgery on his Achilles tendon. It got infected and he died. Horrible.
If you don’t get put under general anesthesia I’d consider that minor surgery. I had a procedure on my foot years ago where they didn’t do that, just local and went to town.
In my view only other people have minor surgery.
So would anyone else.
So far …

saw Flo posted their tracker…
at first kind of shocked with all the late 2025 guys, but, i guess it makes sense…
surely someone has to have done some sort of analysis of how many portal entries never get picked up?
obviously, in the stick and ball sports it would be way higher by number but i would be interested in seeing %s…
i am all for student athlete empowerment as the NCAA is truly one of the biggest scumbag orgs around, but, i am not sure how much good this whole new system has actually accomplished…
0% good.
