If you saw the size of the check nichols cut him you would be less surprised…
as I kid Iowa was my favorite team because I went to Gables camp.Ive also always like Lehigh because when i was young they were on some obscure tv channel Now I like Penn State But just a fan of of the sport.
I am not a fan of teams…
Only individuals and the sport itself…

Yeah I’m familiar with his son’s as that’s how I know of them from the beef thread +where for some reason he’d post pictures of them)
I wouldn’t post pics here or on the old UG of my family lol
His son Otto is the Better wrestler, from what he has admitted to previously.
I wish them all the best, I really do.
They get millions of views, dummy…
We are not anonymous…
just watched last years tourney uner 20 and under 17 The Raney brothers wrestled each other in finals 2x Good matches
No worries about that here brother. It takes an incredibly special person to open their life pull and provide a father figure to a kid in need. Interestingly enough, I’ve met 3-4 guys who have done exactly that and they have ALL been wrestling families.
My buddy knows the whole family well and represented them in the legal issues against the PIAA. Says they are exactly as the seen and that Bonis a truly awesome kid who just happens to be one of the best in the world at what he does. Super humble and incredibly hard working. One of the rare ones who recognizes he has a gift and loves the life he must in order to maximize the gift he was given.
So, the adopted Viking son from the Netherlands was in town and came over to say hi along with Puerto Rico’s Greco rep and the U20 US Open champ at 77kg…
Interesting note…
UWW trying to go to a pure ranking tourney format for Olympic qualifying…
Apparently the big countries tired of losing world champions spots in the Olympics to the continental qualifiers…
It has the support of the big federations and UWW…
I’m not mad at the the thought but super curious on the application…
