Dang, almost podium
5k this morning right around 28 minutes. Did what I never do and started near back and I was in a game of human frogger for first mile . Would love to lose some weight and go back under 25 minutes. Now that I’m 50 I better hurry up . Never quite went sub 23 in my adult years
Playing frogger like that sucks! I’m sure your times would have been better otherwise. Even still 28 minutes at 50 ain’t bad!
Try to do it without skipping should improve your time.

I haven’t done 8 miles in a long time. Went for a run with a 70 year old, retired co-worker Tuesday morning, and he forced me up to 7 miles from my usual 3. 10:20 pace, so I could easily handle. But still makes my hip flexors angry.
Oh it was walk/ run I assure you. I got 5 miler in two weeks and beach to beacon 10k after. I cannot “jog” for longer than 1/4 mile on my own but I could do a half marathon race without stopping . Makes no fucking sense . No matter how slow pace I cannot run alone
And yeah that diamond league gonna be crazy
