Anyone grow up watching Happy Days?

Chuck received a basketball scholarship in Outer Mongolia. - Garry Marshall

Chuck was portrayed by three different actors:

Ric Carrott in the pilot episode

Gavan O’Herlihy in the first two seasons

Randolph Roberts also in the first two seasons.

I’m sorry but the whole premise of the jumping the shark episode sounds like something out of Jackass season 1.

Happy Days is on MeTV right now and I’m watching it. Wow, just a great show. I forgot how much I loved it.

Me too, it was the episode where they go to the cabin and Fonzie gets shot in the ass

In all fairness pretty hard to do that episode in Arnold’s or the Cunningham’s living room.

Anyone remember
The inside of the house changed after the first season?

And the older brother Chuck disappeared

Remember when Arnold taught Joanie and Ritchie Judo?

I vaguely remember that one. Didn’t the Fonz get into it with Karate Tom Hanks in one episode? lol. Fucking ridiculous. I think he also went undercover as a nerd to deal with a gang of bully biker chicks too. He usually used some kind of Fonz “Coolness” feat to avoid actually fighting but still get rid of the vilain.

Tom Bosley wasn’t originally cast as Howard Cunningham.

Another actor played the role in the pilot, but when the show got picked up and was finally going into production, he was involved in a play overseas. He wanted to honor his commitment and declined the role.

Tom Bosely got it and went on to be one of the most iconic dads in television history.

Andy Taylor said to hold his beer.

That time when Opie shot and killed a bird and Andy made him set by the window and listen to the other baby birds chirping not knowing if their mother was coming back with food. Opie ended up taking care of the baby birds

I said one of, not the most iconic.

I watched that episode of Andy Griffith show a month or so ago on MeTV on a Sunday morning
