A search of online records in Penn’s home state of Hawaii show the retired UFC fighter has several ongoing cases including a civil lawsuit happening as well.
More recently, a protective restraining order was approved by a judge on May 20 after Penn failed to appear in court. According to court records, the judge told Penn not to “threaten/physically abuse/psychologically abuse/maliciously damage or disturb the property/prohibited from personally contacting the other party and protected minor(s); [Penn] is prohibited from coming or passing within 100 yards of any residence, place of employment, or school of the other party and the protected minor(s).”
The case against Penn was filed by his ex Shealen Uaiwa with the protective order also in place for two children as well.
The protective order was put in place until March 10, 2030.
As recently as April 7, Penn actually filed for a temporary restraining order of his own against his mother Lorraine Shin but a judge denied the order stating “allegations do not establish a basis for relief.”
In recent months, Penn has posted a number of disturbing videos and photos making all sorts of wild accusations including one addressed to the Hilo Police department stating “I need your help. My mother Lorraine Shin, my brother Jay Dee Penn, my brother, Reagan Penn and my brother Kalani Mamazuka [were] all murdered and I need you to investigate these guys get these people out of my house and my off my properties.”
In other posts, Penn alleged that people are impersonating his family members in an attempt to steal his assets.

That brought an end to his UFC career after Penn was widely considered one of the greatest fighters of all time after claiming championships in two different divisions and headlining numerous cards throughout his legendary career.
