I saw Dodson talking about it in an interview somewhere. He has fought in Rizin twice since winning his BKFC title while representing BKFC, but BKFC isn’t booking him for whatever reason. They even recently had an interim Flyweight Championship match despite Dodson being healthy. So dumb, unless there is information being withheld.
I wish there was more information because I’ve been wondering what’s going on with Dodson and the Flyweight title for a long time. I was so pumped to see him win the belt and then he just never fought again. His brother Eric is a very active fighter in the promotion and also one of my favorites.
