What makes the signing even more strange is the fact that Lauzon is a grappling-heavy fighter. The UFC veteran may have some knockouts under his belt, but he’s a submission artist at heart. In fact, 17 out of Lauzon’s 28 career MMA wins have come by way of submission. He was never considered a dangerous striker or even someone who can do a lot of damage with his hands. It’s a little odd that Lauzon would return to combat sports after such a long layoff and under the BKFC banner to boot.
What, are they going to sign Kron to BKFC next? Guess they have to wait till he’s 40+.
