I had a friend cut 20 in a week and he competed at 125 so maybe he’s not lying
For his size, he will likely need to drop between 16-22 lbs and sweat off the last 15-20 lbs. I wouldn’t risk cutting more water than that without an IV to help me recover.

Reinier isn’t a bum like all of Bo’s opponents have been. I would love to see the odds. Hopefully the line thinks it will be a fast and easy win for Bo. I see this going all 3 Rounds no matter who wins.

It cuts away from him. Looks to me more like Bo just doing more of what he’s actually good at: brand building and being an influencer.
Bo is not a super prospect but somehow people have been talking about his dumb ass non stop since he decided to grace the sport with his presence.

The meaningful distinctions in grappling arts all come from rules, and what skills they encourage and discourage. And in the context of what translates to MMA, how the skills the rules encourage translate to MMA.
Sambo is a ruleset and not a style. It’s essentially judo plus BJJ as rules go, with slightly more emphasis on standup than BJJ rules but with more ne waza than judo. Which has a lot of utility because traditional BJJ rules tend to create guys who are too comfortable working on their backs because of the time periods.
Greco translates better than free or folk style.
Either way it doesn’t matter. It’s not 2000. You can’t just be good at any one of them and automatically be a prospect. Bo didn’t know. He does now.

There’s really no excuse for him to be that heavy so far out imo. Cutting that much weight is crazy. He looked smaller physically than DeRidder. Is his smooth ride up to this point catching up to him?
