LMFAO! So compassionate!

Everyone working in their own self interest mutually benefits society.

There’s over 200 years of economic data showing that there’s no better way of improving the lives of ordinary people than self-interested private actors freely exchanging ideas and goods and services.

Whenever a government coerces people to ā€œhelpā€ society, it doesn’t help the masses in poverty and individual rights are suppressed. There’s only 200 years of empirical data that supports it.

No society has EVER pulled people out of poverty by instituting top down government spending.

So, me me me isn’t just MAGA, it’s called basic economics.

I’m all for sharing the wealth and everyone thats hard working (or those that really can’t) should be comfortable, but the lower/middle class shouldn’t feel as poor as the ones that dont pull their own weight, and a lot of times that’s what happens.

Dioxippus Could be Thin… who fucking cares.

The only reason I support the bill:

The amount of funding ICE will get is staggering. Through September 20209, the ICE budget will be $170 BILLION.

This makes ICE by far the largest federal law enforcement agency, and gives them immense resources to right the course of the Biden migrant catastrophe.

Not a damn thing wrong with individualism. It’s part of what makes our nation.

But even without that angle, nothing on that list is harmful to anyone who pulls their own weight.

Is there any other kind?

Let’s go over it, shall we?

Tax cuts - Objectively good for all. Benefits the middle class the most, as I’ve shown via IRS data.

ā€œSafety netā€ cuts - it’s already known that these cuts will be targeting fraudsters and able-bodied leeches. Another objective good.

ā€œClean energyā€ cuts - Another objective good. Those credits intentionally harmed American businesses.

That… doesn’t even make any sense.

Are you high?

Maybe I should be…

A little early still though.

Sean Hannity over here!

U cant fool all the people all the time…

Even then, it is still incredibly generous.

Able-bodied individuals without dependents 19-64 are required to work (or volunteer) 80 hours per month.

Also, critics say most able-bodied Medicaid recipients are already working. So if that is the case, this new law will focus on the fraudsters.

I don’t doubt the pool of bums this targets is fairly small. That doesn’t mean we should ignore it. You stomp on cockroaches, not let them scurry into the shadows!

This is awesome. Now we will have 10’s of thousands of unwanted children of urban types that will make America great or something. Or it will lead to shitloads of more crime and people on the government dole. Though we can feel good about saving babies who cares they will become future criminals.

Nothing in the bill prevents private funding of abortion clinics.

All it would take is one thousand wealthy liberals donating $1M each to Planned Parenthood to fill the gap.

One of the best things about ripping PP off of the federal teet like this is that it inspires and encourages a lot of private activism and donations.

You will see a McKenzie Bezos type donating $10M+ to PP, and others following that lead. PP will end up within ballpark of what they lost, but it won’t be done with tax dollars.

We’re going bankrupt either way.

I’d prefer to keep more of the devalued currency I earn in the meantime.

My hammers have more sense than you.
