Could You Take Floyd Mayweather In a fight?

You also have to get past his 7 foot tall bodyguards.

There is no way in hell hes 5 8.

I didn’t think so either, but Google and other sites at least back it up

Cheddar get some paint cans together in your garage and show us your technique so we can judge your fighting effectiveness.

Never trained a day in his life?

He trains MMA/wrestling with Tyron Woodley.

You guys sound like a bunch of TMA guys talking about 3 finger death punches.

Floyd’s fucking you all up.

Isnt he a little beta manlet guy? He knows king of midgets would wreck him and extrapolates that to us lol.

if i could get my hands on him Id break him in half easily

but nothing easy about getting your hands on a guy who can box like that

Yeah clinching doesnt happen frequently in boxing matches lol.

they do, for 2 seconds then the ref steps on

and you arent allowed to try takedowns

are you retarded or something?

Why do you think its so hard to clinch a boxer then?

because distance management and footwork.

you should watch a boxing match before weighing in on any of this

So your argument is clinching happens constantly in boxing, but its really hard to clinch?

Also distance management is easy vs other manlets. Hed have to get in close to punch me in the face.

no thats not my argument, you made that up.

  1. boxers stand just out of punching range (and inside kicking range and close to grappling range)

  2. boxers move in and out of punching range to land shots. If they feel its advantageous to do so, they will willingly clinch, knowing the ref will save them within seconds. Its part of the sport

if its a fight, #1 is not happening. The boxer will be much more cognizant of the kicks and entries to grappling.

a boxing match is not a fight. You should watch a boxing match because youre embarrassing yourself here

The few instances we’ve seen of former elite boxers going against mma fighters, they’ve all been decisive outcomes. (Except Clarissa Shields having tough times with part time Dennys waitress types).

Couture vs Toney is probably the most likely outcome in most wrestler vs pure boxer fight scenarios.

Tim Sylvia getting flatlined represents the literal only way a pure boxer could possibly win, although Sylvia was a fat slob by that point and wasn’t a great grappler.
