âIt wonât be on CBS, itâll be on Paramount+,â White told The Mac Life. âOne hundred percent, that fight will be on Paramount+. Maybe we do some prelims on CBS, but that fight will be on Paramount+. ⌠There will be fights on CBS, but weâre on Paramount+.â
The end of the traditional pay-per-view model will take some adjusting to for longtime UFC fans, but on paper the plan is beneficial to avid watchers as they will no longer be required to pay a hefty PPV price for each show. All UFC events airing on Paramount+ are included in the streaming package.

Pereira recently poured cold water on the idea, as he took to social media to reveal his place on the UFC White House card is unlikely. In a new video posted on his YouTube channel, Cormier expressed disappointment (via MMAJunkie).
âI truly believe that the most discouraging news would be Alex Pereira saying that heâs not going to fight at the White House,â Cormier said. âPereira, obviously, is one of the biggest stars in the UFC, but also because, when he fights, in most cases, you know that thereâs going to be fireworks, most likely, or possibly a finish. Whatâs most discouraging though about the whole situation â outside of the finishing facts, the star ability, all of that, is that if he was to fight, the fight that he offered up for the White House was a fight against Jon Jones.â
Cormier expressed his belief that perhaps Pereira was actually told by a UFC higher-up that the fight wouldnât happen. The UFC Hall of Famer said it wouldnât make sense for âPoatanâ to make the social media post otherwise. He also admitted that he feels both Pereira and Jones needed each other to make it on the UFC White House card.
If Pereira ultimately wonât be on the White House card, itâll be interesting to see if that also rules out âBonesâ for the show.
