It’s a start, but there’s no reason it should be anything more than schedule V along with cough medicine if at all.
It has its risks but they’re nowhere close to the risks of alcohol.

In Canada the first and easiest way to get legal weed was go into a “dispensary”, talk to a doctor on an iPad, get diagnosed with whatever bullshit you need, and get a prescription.
That’s the way it works here in some (now most) states. But those states are breaking federal law, the feds just aren’t prosecuting them. This is the DEA, reducing the scheduling of it from I with heroin, to III. It will likely lighten up criminal sentencing around it.
I can’t believe that shit was ever put in the same group as heroin. People were so delusional.

It’s completely legal here now. There are about 5 stores within walking distance from me. They also have a limit of 30 grams per purchase. You can buy enough booze to kill your self and everyone around you, but you can’t buy too much weed.

It’s 100% legal in California. People hit carts and pens while driving. Might be nicotine but you will never know.

herb was perfect when it was semi legal. all i wanted was for people to stop going to jail for it. now phillip morris bought up a bunch of land in norcal and are going to ruin the product and drive out generations of farmers. they already killed the price of the pound.

I’d heard he mentioned something, I hope he makes an official announcement soon if he’s serious. They’d probably do it before the election, but if he makes his intention official it’ll look good for him that they keep stealing his ideas.
