Pretty diverse mix that is reflective of the racial makeup of NYC.
8 men/4 women, and the original racial split was 4 white/8 non-white, but a black juror was dismissed last month for suspicions he lied about his residency and was replaced with a white alternate.
Interestingly enough, most of the jury skewed older. Only 3 members under 40.

You put non whites on a jury they will side with the black regardless of innocence or guilt.

This is certainly true of all black jurors, but nonwhites can vary - asians will find them guilty if they are guilty, hispanics are a mixed bag, etc. But black jurors are an absolute absurdity - they will torpedo the biggest charge in any crime involving a black man.
I wish I had a crystal ball to create a montage of black jurors just stonewalling the rest of the jury and watch how everyone acts. Watch how nobody has the guts to stand up to the clown and tell him the defendent is obviously guilty and you are only siding with him because his skin color matches yours.
