Dillon Danis picked up a big win over the weekend at Misfits 22.
Not âbigâ in the way of âgoodâ or âimportant,â but it was certainly high-profile! Opposite the unheralded boxer Frank Warren, Danis was able to secure a nearly instant submission win, wrapping up a guillotine choke as soon as the duo clinched up (watch here). He scored the tap in just 15 seconds, making quick history in Misfitsâ first MMA fight.
After picking up his first MMA win since 2019, Danis is now 3-0 at 32 years of age. Given his jiu-jitsu credentials, he could be seen as a legitimate prospect rather than just a toxic troll. After the fight, Danis began to line himself up for further spectacle matches against the likes of Nate Diaz, Eddie Hall, and KSI, but is there a chance Danis moves beyond the Misfits scene and finally joins the UFCâs Octagon?
