I know Alta gives no fucks but are they going to Fdisk all those great threads or will they let someone archive them?

Muh threads!
I’m sure someone has a backup floating around somewhere. Legality would be the issue as Alta probably owns the site and all its content.
Not sure if there’d be an issue pulling the content out of the DB and reposting. I wonder if they’d even come after us for it since they clearly didn’t want to be associated with any of it anyway.
“BREAKING: Alta sues OnlyGround for posting all the GeeGee threads they tried to memory hole!”
Now that I think about it, maybe Alta bought the site to be able to get the plans and patent rights to TrickleSlice. We could be on the brink of a very promising future.
Content you submit to the forum belongs to you, and you decide what permission to give others for it. But at a minimum, you license the company to provide content that you submit to the forum to other users of the forum. That special license allows the company to copy, publish, and analyze content you submit to the forum.
Alta has no recourse, just the original user of the content you’re reproducing.
…and I WILL sue if y’all archive any of my content.
