My Gracie girl used to hide in the shower if she got stressed out. I was looking all over for her when I had the roof done. Finally peaked behind the shower curtain and she was laying down, waiting for the roofers to leave. I’d put her bed in there if it was storming or there were fireworks. Loved watching TV. Would get pissed if she saw animals on it.
It’ll be a year next month that bladder cancer took her out at 14.
New kiddo watches TV like her, and gets riled up at on screen animals too.
Definitely what happened with her. She sits on the couch like a human. She also smiles at her favorite people. She’s an amazing dog.
My goofball last night. Usually he sits with his butt in the cushions and his head on the back of the couch. This was new. Lol
Finally got a picture of her smile. She only does it when she’s really excited, like when I come home. Presumably it’s because I always smile at her. Love that face.

Growing up i had a lab that would do that same thing. I would give him a couple grrrr’s, and say smile for me. Every time!
