Do you know guys getting garnished for college loans?

If you pay into a system you should benefit if you need it.

There’s countless people scamming countless systems.
Standing on principle it pointless in that environment. It’s like playing honest poker while everyone around you is cheating and cashing in.
So who’s the sucker?

I’ve gotta be able to live with myself…

I’m perfectly healthy and can work too, but i get disability from the VA. I put in my time, i’ve earned it. If they want to pay me disability every month for the rest of my life, i’m not gonna say no

You can already do that. You can rack up hundreds of thousands of unsecured credit card debt and discharge all of it. So tell me why student loans need to be treated differently

I honestly don’t get these fucking losers. Yeah I like most of us started college around 2000.

I had my student loans paid off by 28. From a nice university. Yes, i did have some scholarship help through my years but by the end it came to about 25% of my total.

Get a fucking job and pay it off. Hell after a year of working in my field i realized i could make more working in the cable industry at the time.

You think any of these bitches whining would go that route? Nope, they’d stick with their shitty job bc of a shit degree and complain. Which is mostly what we see now.

Shit, that reminds me.

I got an academic scholarship. Had to test in a pool of like 600 people.

I scored 2nd.

1st place? A buddy of mine who wound up not even going to that school in the end.

Did they give me his scholarship amount? Nooooo. Just a paltry 1600 per year.

Don’t get me wrong, it helped. But I’m still pissed at that dude to this day lol.

Oh I’m with you. Even with my score on ACT and 4.0 in HS my scholarship was still only 8k a semester… if i kept a 3.2 or something above.

Yeah… that 3.2 - 3.5 lasted about a year lol.

In my state at the time 4.0 was the best you could receive. Never had anything but As in HS.
