Yeah I let it idle for a good hour to warm up all of the - what I can only assume are - plastic engine components.

I try to give it at least 20 seconds to let the oil circulate and try to give at least a minute in winter and try not to rev high for the first few minutes

My grandpa used to take an old metal coffee can, put a small candle inside of it, and light it under his engine block in the winter back in the day.

Being late to work because of engine issues was not on the docket for grandpa.

this. itā€™s about rpmā€™s so for most people just pulling out of their driveway/parking spot is mild enough that it wonā€™t make a difference.

for most of my daily commutes to/from work my engineā€™s never over maybe 3500rpm
