Story you didn’t ask for. When I was a little kid, we never watched MMA in my household. Just no one was into it. Then when Koscheck fought Leben on TUF we watched that, because my older brother went to highschool wtih Kos. I thought that was the most lame boring thing ever, and decided I didn’t like the UFC and MMA.
Then a few years later, I’m watching a baseball game on FoxSports and the remote control batteries die. Game ends, and Best of Pride with Glazer and Trigg comes on, and I see Igor Vovchanchyn kill Bueno, Sakuraba break Renzo’s arm, and Sakuraba and Newton have this crazy back and forth grappling match.
I decided that day that I didn’t dislike MMA, but the UFC was still gay and Pride was cool. Only when I was in middle school and Pride died did I learn to appreciate the UFC and stop being a Pride Neva Die guy.

I didnt it just put him on Queer Street for a bit then he recovered and whooped my ass.
I always thought Frye was mad his college and post college wrestling career wasn’t as successful as Kerr or other wrestlers. Frye was a solid college wrestler but he wasn’t top tier. I vaguely remember Rico making him look really bad when he was wrestling at Oklahoma State.
