Why would he have his own name on his phone?
My name isn’t on my phone anywhere someone would casually see it.
My contacts are names of other people, obviously.
Maybe if he had his Facebook open or something?
A lot of fighters smoke on occasion, at least they did back in the day. Might surprise some people.

Saw Mark Kerr in a Walmart buying nicotine gum once. He looked pissed so I didn’t approach him. Also looked small.

I don’t know how he knew it was Maurice Smith unless he saw the social media he was gonna post to it or something. I haven’t talked to him since this thread.

And had his own name on his phone. What does that even mean? Labeled like when a mum puts kids name on their lunch box? Or his screensaver was “Maurice Smiths phone”?

I’ve had a few conversations with Mo Smith, but this was 10-15 years ago. He’s very intelligent and easy going, and while time can put a man through many changes, I’m surprised to learn he’s drunk bumming cigarettes outside a Knoxville steakhouse.

The Maurice guy supposedly wasn’t drunk and if he took a selfie with this guy and was the real Maurice he would have just been posting it as a joke to make fun of the dude most likely. I think he did meet a Maurice Smith just not the “Maurice Smith” lol.
