She’s at another disadvantage. If you grow up as a puny male, you probably develop other attributes or talents to cope in a man’s world - wit, tenacity, work ethic, being a horse jockey, etc. She grew up as an attractive girl. That is the opposite type of preparation.
At least Chaz Bono grew up as a fat girl in preparation…
