Hercules was Roman, Heracles was his progenitor and Greek.

Fun fact; at one point Egypt was Greek.

Your observation isn’t wrong, per se but it’s a stretch. By that logic, there are dozens of Hercules’. In the same way you see the same stories play out time and again in Greek, Roman, Norse, Egyptian, Meso-American, Native American, Asian, and other mythologies.

Not disputing that, actually agree.

I’m just going by supposed timelines and similar pantheons of Gods, Sumerians are alone with theirs compared to the Egyptians/Greeks/Romans.

Written form about gods in the Americas, Norse and Asian parts come way later
