I had been watching from UFC1. I thought tito was it, thought chuck was it. But a hard as it is for new to say, Jon Jones is the one that actually blew my mind through all of his fights getting to the title. No matter how much at hate him he was doing shit at had never seen. All against the elites.
Agreed with Sakuraba. He was the first guy I remember where you really didnt know how he was going to approach each fight. Was he gonna try to keep it standing vs a bjj legend, go for the takedown and some gnp, or injure their arm with a kimura? Was he gonna play it safe and grapple with explosive strikers, or go toe to toe with them, throwing spinning back kicks and wild punches?
