Max wants to win, pure and simple. IMO heād drive for free if it was a guaranteed championship worthy car, especially in a year, if RB go downhill and Newey works magic at AM.
If big numbers are bandied about, Iād suspect itās not him, its background folks, or RB saying thats the cost to get him out of a contract.
Because if they do produce a competitive car, they also will have several top tier drivers desperate to drive for them, they will be able to cherry pick and not mortgage the farm for him.

But if Max only ever wins in a Newey car, heās below Schumi and Ham etc etcā¦
