Reminds me of Rogans commentary during GSP vs Mayhem
Literally said Miller as “light years ahead” of St-Pierre on the ground even as Georges continued to systematically prison rape him

I remember this but I’d have to rewatch for the details
It was during Rogan’s peak of “BJJ beats wrestling” time and commentary.
If there was any guy with a high level of BJJ against a strong wrestler, Rogan would always praise the BJJ guy and talk about how good he was, and how he would eventually “catch” the wrestler.
It definitely wasn’t isolated to GSP, and I think Rogan had a tough time accepting wrestlers were beating jiu jitsu guys for a long time. He should have seen the writing on the wall when Sakuraba started beating the Gracie’s.
