Is this a thread for black gun nuts, or can people who can actually shoot post in here?
You know I love my .22 win mags
Awww that’s a cute little rifle
Sure is. Come Fall and the Tikka T3 chambered in ought-6 comes out.
Got a couple trips to Montana and Colorado planned, so was thinking about getting a 6.5 creedmore.
Very nice!
6.5 creed and all of those are nice rifles that do what you ask of them within reason but, IMO, there’s very little as Hemingway type romantic as carrying a 308 or an 06 out into “the woods”.
Couldn’t agree more. Shooting the same caliber as my grandpa gives me all sorts of warm fuzzies inside.
Flashlights in home defense always struck me as weird…. You know your house, why lose the entire element of surprise?

Learn to use your pressure switch… It’s great for blinding and disrupting the bad guys ODA loop.
We’ll always have that camping trip…
I think it’s more kit to maintain and no real reason to have it.
There’s a number of reasons people who are raiding a house (swat, military) use them, but a person breaking in to a house could do any number of unpredictable things when hit with a light. Just shoot ‘em.
You’re really overthinking a range toy…
I was just talking in general. But then again, I like Springfields so Arod probably hates me anyway.
What holster you rocking?
I’m rocking a Springfield Hellcat but I really want the new pro comp.
Respectfully, I think you’re wrong here, friend.
There’s a plethora of reasons why the average joe would need a weapon mounted light but they all can be summed up by “Know your target”.
