Homeslice shakes RELATIVITY to its CORE with his world-view changing gedankenexperiment

Eh, Einstein did borrow upon ideas established by others to come up with his theories of relativity, no doubt. But there is no shame in that. For, that has been the case w/r/t science from the beginning of human kind. And, after all, in truth, I used ideas established by Einstein and others to demonstrate that the theory of relativity does not hold water, and I used those ideas right here today, in this very thread. Do not try and discredit me by discrediting him, for that is a lost cause…

NO you made false assumptions in your tripe. This is not an obvious inconsistency. It is your inability to understand relativity. The messages between a and b cannot be transmitted in real time The dilation would affect the transmission time. “Somehow” is a sign of your poorly thought out musings. You pulled bullshit from your ass and then shaped it into pseudo scientific codswallop.

This helps explain why HS is full of shit. OP, stick to shooting turtles, it more aligns with your IQ.

Unfortunately, you are wrong and completely off base on everything. You don’t even understand my gedankenexperiment and the ramifications. I wonder what you do understand, it seems to be very little.

  1. Of COURSE they can be “transmitted” in real time. You think if someone is moving fact they can’t hit a “send” button? LOLOL. Now, what you mean is that the transmissions would not be RECEIVED in real time because of the differences in speed. But that, of course, would be patently untrue. Nothing prevents anything moving near the speed of light from receiving transmissions. Nothing. In my gedankenexperiment, the trajectory and speed of Person A is known by Person B. As Person A is at the far end of the loop (i.e. a point far away from the screen), Person B could easily send its message to a point near the movie screen where Person A will be as it loops closer to movie screen. Conversely, since Person B has a fixed position, Person A can shoot the message to Person B whenever he wants, he knows exactly where Person B is at all time. I thought about explaining these simple things in my original post, but I figured it was far too simple to waste my time, surely everyone could figure this out just by thinking about it for 5 seconds. Boy was I wrong LOL.

  2. While, as explained above, you are absolutely wrong in your assertion (I mean, what you would have asserted if you had the ability to even get the assertion right lol) that Person A and Person B could not effectively communicate, you even making that assertion shows you don’t even fully understand my gedankenexperiment. For, even if there was NO COMMUNICATION between Person A and Person B, Person A stills come to a complete stop next to Person B right as the movie is ending as to Person A, and thus must necessarily be ending for Person B, who is right next to Person A, even though relativity would tell us Person B’s time ran 2x as fast as Person A’s time. That happens whether or not they communicated. LOL.

  3. Being nasty and cussing doesn’t make you look smart, it just makes you look dumb. And you do not need any help in that regard…

Yes, transmissions can be sent and received near the speed of light, but here’s where relativity really kicks in: the perception of these transmissions is altered. For instance, Person A, traveling at relativistic speeds, will perceive time slower compared to Person B. This means that even if Person B sees the movie ending and sends a ‘movie’s over’ message to Person A, Person A will receive this message, but according to their dilated time where the movie may still be playing from their perspective.

You mentioned that both Person A and Person B stop and observe the movie ending together—this is a crucial point. Even if Person A stops right next to Person B when the movie ends for A, B would have experienced this ending much earlier due to faster time passage. Relativity tells us that events perceived as simultaneous in one frame (A stopping as the movie ends for him) are not necessarily simultaneous in another frame (B, who has been in normal time, saw the movie end earlier). There’s no contradiction here—just the strange, yet consistent, effects of relativistic time dilation.

All we need is Raskal and GeeGee and the three stooges is complete.

Welcome home Homeslice

I think there should be a homeslice ground. He can post videos of him doing home repairs and fixing his car.

I wish we had that fishpond guy too

homeslice is not the fish pond guy?

Different usernames but there is no proof that wasn’t homeslice
