HKP has been a solid poster here for years. He posts quality posts here and the UG. I mostly appreciate what he does on the lytesout podcast. It is one of my favorite podcasts. I am an old school mma fan and I love listening to all my favorite old school fighters, and some I knew little about.
He does his homework and asks great questions, he keeps the conversation on track. Without him I feel a lot of the history of mma would be lost forever.
My only criticism is he doesn’t cover Hawaii MMA enough. Hawaii mma was important to the sport and promotions like SuperBrawl produced a lot of ufc champs. I’m still waiting for my Ray Cooper interview!
I fought in one of his events and he and his wife were very nice. I called his wife one day for fight info and his son answered the phone. She picked up and he stayed on to make sure I wasn’t hitting on his mom. I’ll bet that was Ray Cooper 3, he probably was ready to kick my ass at 16
