7 seems about right. I’m too much of a risk adverse nit to be rated higher, lol.
I spend 5-10 bucks on Super Lotto every month.

The cashier wants to give me a ticket to win 4wheeler every time I gas up, I say I don’t like to gamble, I just play poker.

I don’t gamble because I’m a poor and frightened person, but my dad used to spend every weekend in Vegas (drove from Long Beach CA). He would usually go alone and would only play roulette. At one point he bought a professional roulette table for thousands of dollars and had it in his office. Me and my wife went with him one time, and it was the only time I’ve stayed in the Luxor and it was comped. Everyone knew him by his first name like he was Wayne Newton. It was a total surprise because back home he sat in his office working at a computer all day and we never knew he had a secret Vegas life where he was actually popular. He had a really unique roulette system, but other than that he was just lucky, or maybe he was a witch, because he would commonly go up to those giant attention-grabbing machines or games that were in the entrances to Casinos and win hundreds on one spin. But when he died my stepmom got into the safe that was in his office and there was around $300K in it, so probably it doesn’t qualify as degenerate or gambling.

I bet I could be an 11 if I wanted to.
It’s a sad addiction for some. I grew up in many casinos and it’s very depressing to see. I won’t spend a dime at one.

Losing a dollar in a slot machine makes my skin crawl.
I invest, that’s the only gambling I do
Not scared to throw a hundy down maybe 1x a year.
Spent a couple years when i was young playing in local casinos. It is fun i enjoy it too much so had to stop when i started making decent money at work. Now I won’t go anywhere local. Have only been to vegas once since covid.
