I think Kerr most likely wins. I haven’t seen Kerr taken down much so it is a given that Rickson would be on his back. Kerr get Rickson down relatively fast and without taking much damage. Rickson best shot at a sub is when being taken down. Once in his guard Kerr neutralizes Rickson and just chips away without taking risks.
I would bet on it being a terrible “fight” and I’m glad we never had to watch it.
If the fight is 30+ minutes it’s a toss up. Kerr couldn’t do sufficient damage to Igor from on top so I am not thoroughly convinced he could do anything to hurt Rickson.
This isn’t actually many of his fights though. He either overpowers and brutalizes people or loses late. He has a lot of those “I’m in your guard for a long boring match throwing hammer fists” but I don’t think he actually won any of them excepting Enson. Igor twice, Heath, Fujita…he didn’t do well going late. I guess maybe he stopped Duarte (although he took a lot longer to do it than Rickson did.)
Kerr was actually a boring fighter if he wasn’t crushing a can. Coleman was much better, Coleman got subbed from the guard but he actually tried to hurt people
The thing is Rickson can’t hurt Kerr standing. Kerr can shoot in on Rickson and just eat whatever shot comes his way. He could also strike with Rickson and win that exchange. Kerr gasses but I don’t think Rickson can has Kerr out.
I think Kerr fights a safe and boring fight. Refs might stand them up for no action but Rickson takes him down again.
In a no time limit fight maybe Rickson wins in 2 or 3 hours.
i dont think u meant to type that
Kerr takes Rickson down over and over
If Kerr gasses he probably gets swept and/or subbed though.
I think the platonic form of fighting is basically that black mirror episode with the pedo kid ending. Infinite space, no crowd, no ref, both contestants compelled to try to win. In that rule set I think Rickson leaves alive. I wouldn’t be shocked if it was the reverse for sure though.
i dont doubt kerr getting any takedown he wants.
but u said rickson takes him down
I’m a big Gracie mark so my thoughts are biased. I see Rickson eventually getting him down and subbing him. I think Sak goes for his ankle pic and gets caught in a front headlock and it goes from there. The longer it goes the more I see Sak winning because he’s more adept on the feet and sweaty fighters are harder to land subs on.

Igor is not a normal human being though.
Not disagreeing with you.. just saying.
Absolutely true.
Fun fact, the old Pride show on Fox Sports with Jay Glazer was what got me into MMA. I saw a few episodes back to back; Vovchanchyn x Bueno, Sak x Newton, and Sak x Renzo were on that day, over a few episodes iirc. I saw those fights and was hooked.
Igor is my hero.
No idea what you’re talking about – yet somehow I get it.
Interesting choice of words.
I always thought it would be cool to simulate an infinite plain.
No border, no out of bounds.
Also, rounds or time limit.
Rules would be minimal, yet somehow very enforceable. I wouldn’t want it to turn into an eye gouging contest.
Loser either submits or is rendered unable to function.
Then again…
There are walls and fences in the real world.
And there is a lot to be said for using them to your advantage.
I tend to be a purist though.
Even some of those old boring fights like Ken/Royce 2, or Erickson/Bustamante, were very much interesting to me.
Tend to agree.
Who is mentally stronger?
And can Rickson avoid a relatively indefensible position while Kerr is fresh?
Haha, you know I’m not wrong
Igor only tried to tie up Kerr not sub him. Going for armbars and sweeps open you up to strikes. Igor is also much stronger than Rickson, he can hold Kerr better to prevent shots.
Maybe Rickson gasses Kerr and taps him. I wish we got to see it

Haha, you know I’m not wrong
Taken within a relative context, you are not.
I would still find it fascinating.
No idea what you’re talking about – yet somehow I get it.
Basically hackers film a few guys whacking it through their web cams. Tell them to go to a field and fight to the death or they’ll release the footage. So no ref, no crowd, and you have to fight to win; no making it to a decision or running away
LOL…bullshit.
Rickson was perfectly happy to fight complete bums in an era where NHB had become a professional sport.
He elected to fight a 0-6-2 Takeda twice, then get Funaki to come out of retirement in 2000, instead of fighting Coleman, Kerr, Igor, Henderson, Newton, Sakuraba, ANYONE
