How Hard can you Punch?

Thank You for not being a douchebag.

I guess the cemetery kick is better for the jaw-line/temple.

Come on now

On that UFC PI shit fuckin Rogan held the record.

Now I respect the fuck out of Rogan’s TKD, but what about Mirko’s TKD?

They don’t allow you to kick it. They have signs

The target is like 16 inches wide and perfectly flat. There’s no part of the human body that wide and perfectly flat.

If you wanted a kick that works on the target, and is a good proxy for the exact kick Cro-Cop favors; you could do the roundhouse kick hitting with the ball of the foot. Based on my experience, the version Cro-Cop does is better for real fighting, and the other version is better for hitting perfectly flat targets like boards or concrete blocks.

I mostly bought the target for my son, but I played with it myself. A long time ago, I used to be a black belt in Karate, and I used to break concrete blocks. This includes breaking a concrete block at face level with roundhouse kick. There were some subtleties to how I did.

Recently, I decided that my son couldn’t mentally juggle two different versions of a kick, and I was going to focus on teaching him the version that works better on living breathing opponents, not the one for hitting perfectly flat targets.

That being said, we do the teep kick on the target from the video, and we do elbow smashes as well.

I also decided I’m not working on ā€˜bladed body’ kicks, only on kicks that start with the hips square to the target. So I’m not teaching him a side kick, and not doing it myself, in spite of all the past time I spent on the kick.

I’m a heavyweight specimen and have knocked guys out no problem.

As long as you hit hard enough to knock someone out, which any man above 145lb should be able to do, then I don’t get the hype about who hits hardest. A person cannot be more knocked out.

People have tried to do statistical research on that, and it matches casual observations. The fighters who score the most knockouts in MMA are less defined by their physical power than they are by having the ability to land a perfectly timed and placed shot.
