No, they’ve done it before
I believe there was a strong rumor at the time that Trump was going to announce his running mate there so it would make sense a news agency would want to get the news early.

If the point was to get a (((totally badass photo op))) then the media’s presence would be important.
They used to air them a lot during his 2016 run, i think.
Now, not so much
The only reason they aired that rally is because there were rumors that he was going to potentially announce his VP pick, as it was just 2 days before the start of the RNC convention
As far as airing his rallies now, CNN learned their lesson from 2016 and stopped giving him so much earned media. They didn’t even air his rallies in 2020
So it was a coincidence…
Trump then goes on to display Wolverine-like healing power.
There are other potential explanations for what you saw that don’t require a belief in the supernatural.
Being first is more important than being right for journalists in 2024.
