Is DDP ready for Hazmat?

I think Khamzat steamrolls DDP. I doubt that his ground game can hold up and his standup won’t give him enough space to stay upright.

Izzy has the best shot to KO Khamzat.

DDP/Khamzat just feels like Weidman/Rockhold to me, with DDP being Chris.

Unless he absolutely comes out and destroys Strickland in the rematch, I think Khamzat will definitely be the solid favorite.

Izzy will get backed into the the fence and taken down with ease, imo.

Damn. I missed it.

Who really thought Whittaker would be able to hold off a wrestle-heavy Khamzat?

Dricus has way better wrestling and hits way harder than Whittaker. He also hasn’t been through the wars of Whittaker.

I hope Khamzat is the favorite over Dricus

Please don’t make me watch that

I thought he would. And he got taken down but was creating a lot of scrambles. Obviously he got finished but I think if he made it out of that, he would have had a good chance of winning.

I think the key turning point, was when Whittaker managed to escape and get back to his feet and separate and then Khamzat immediately shot in and took him down again. That must be so demoralising.

Also, Whittaker has managed to deal with the grappling of guys like Jacare and Romero and beat them. He may not be in his prime anymore, but I havent seen anyone steamroll him like that before. Even when DDP beat him it wasn’t that dominant.

Chimaev had an impressive fight yesterday and looked great. Can’t say anything bad about it. Perfect performance.
That said, he arguably lost to Burns and Usman. He’s not that great of a fighter past the first round. If you think one great performance makes a guy unstoppable then you haven’t been watching very long.

No key point in that fight, fluke injury. Watch chimaev fight burns and Usman again for a reality check.

Chimaev has much better wrestling/grappling for mma. Not even close.

I agree other than fighting scared, he doesn’t fight scared imo. But he’s managing his career like he’s scared. Maybe he’s getting bad advice, but he better be careful because people are going to forget about him and he’s not so exciting that he can afford to be out of sight and out of mind.

I thought he’d get minimum 1 or 2 punches in, escape at least 1 time, and not lose 28 teeth.

right now Khamzat is the favorite to beat anyone in the weight class and id say finish.I hope im proven wrong. As for BO hes being micro managed

How can you say that after the burns and Usman fights? He lost to off the couch Usman and almost lost to 155 lb burns?

I would love to see it.

You thought Usman won?

He’s saying it after last night’s fight, which is his most recent performance. You seem to be looking at his worst performances and using those to predict future performance, where as others are looking at his best performances to do that. The balance is probably somewhere in between but he has more good performances than bad.

in ufc ur as good as your last fight I thought he clearly beat Usman who is very good…Birns fight was close but Khamzat imo is better at 185 as an ex wrestler i can tell u cutting extra weight almost always backfires.Id favor Khamzat over DDP and think he will be a big betting favorite so if u think DDP will win bet
