Israel losing the war and resorting to the Samson option is the worst case scenario.
If Iran win, it’s very likely we will see a nuclear-armed Iran (unless the US or Russia intervene) which is not a good thing. Nuclear Iran with Israel eliminated gives Iran hegemony in the Middle East. I don’t think any sane person wants to see a nuclear-armed Islamic theocracy.
A reality we are definitely facing here is that, if Israel lose the conventional war, they are going to have to use nukes as a last resort or face extinction (a 2nd holocaust). They can’t just surrender… they will be exterminated. They won’t have any choice.
