put dana on the stand, and ask him how often he has wagered on fights. rogan, any of the referees… and im sure even if they havent personally, they’ve had someone do it for them like otani did in baseball.

and now dana affords the pleasure of betting 50k a hand on blackjack to make due.

Darrick Minner was proven to have done nothing wrong

All of those talking heads

Big John McCarthy
Josh Tompson
Jessie on Fire
Brendan Schaub

All of them took the UFC talking points and tried to shove them down our throats… no research done or questions asked

Take the company press release and talk as if it were real

They owe a public apology to everyone involved in this “situation”

BKFC welcomed former UFC flyweight, Jeff Molina, to the world of bare knuckle boxing on Tuesday.

Less than 24 hours later, BKFC deleted the tweet and called the signing “premature.” That’s because Molina is still under suspension for gambling on UFC fights, part of the James Krause betting scandal that also pinched former UFC featherweight, Darrick Minner.

“Yesterday’s announcement regarding Jeff Molina’s signing was premature,” BKFC handlers wrote on social media. “We respect the ABC’s current suspension and will honor their rules and suspensions.”

The punishment levied against Molina is retroactive to the date of his temporary suspension, which means “El Jefe” can return to action on Nov. 5. Whether or not BKFC moves forward with its original plans to employ Molina remains to be seen.

“I think the UFC was kind of founded on the principle that, hey, if you screw up, you get your punishment,” Molina told Ariel Helwani. “People have come back from running over a pregnant lady when high on coke. They do terrible stuff. They do their punishment and they come back. So I thought my 2.5 years was enough and I’d be able to come back to the UFC. But I get it. I think they are in talks with a new broadcasting deal. I don’t know if they don’t want the attention and what not.”

Molina, 27, was released from UFC in early 2023.

It turns out former UFC fighter Jeff Molina isn’t officially on the BKFC roster just yet after the Association of Boxing Commissions chimed in on the signing.

On Tuesday, Molina announced on “The Ariel Helwani Show” that he signed with BKFC after speaking with promotion president David Feldman. MMA Junkie later confirmed the signing, which later was publicly announced by BKFC in a since-deleted social media post.

On Wednesday morning, BKFC issued a statement posted to social media explaining why.

“Yesterday’s announcement regarding Jeff Molina’s signing was premature,” BKFC said. “We respect the ABC’s current suspension and will honor their rules and suspensions.”

The issue with Molina’s signing stems from the fact that he’s currently serving a two-and-a-half year suspension recently issued by the Nevada Athletic Commission after a lengthy investigation, which was partially conducted by the FBI, into his involvement in an an illegal betting scheme on UFC fights. Molina, 27, is ineligible to compete until his suspension concludes Nov. 5.

yea, fighting injured is one thing, and seems everyone does or has done… throwing or fixing a fight so that everyones bets come in is a completely different ball park

i just dont think dana liked krause running a side hustle and profiting off the insider gambling subscriptions, it being a bad look, but where as if krause offered dana a 40 - 50% of profits and maybe a logo on the octagon dana might have entertained it ?
