I always thought the Santos fight was so interesting. Watched it live. Iirc, Santos was doing really well, winning the fight on points and also deteriorating the state of Jones’ leg badly. Then, Santos got injured mid-fight. What are everyone’s thoughts about Jon getting lucky there with Santos getting injured? Jon was losing.

Jon is obviously an unbelievable fighter, one of the greatest, but I thought Santos had his number and Jon got lucky. Maybe if Santos didn’t get injured then Jon would have taken him down and changed the course of the fight down on the mat?

I’d like to re-watch the fight if the UFC ever shares it on YouTube. I don’t watch bootleg stuff, so I’m at the mercy of the UFC.
