I like that the same faggots on reddit who trash Jon Jones for not signing up immediately for the dude they want him to fight for his 15th title defense are the same stupid homos who think Khabib is the GOAT after retiring after 3 title defenses while chandler, olivera and ferguson were all waiting.

And Jon wants to potentially retire at 37 years of age.

Khabib won his lightweight belt from Al Iaquinta.
And this fight made more sense at the time it was booked.
It did make more sense, but now it doesnt.
Its fine if Jon wants the legacy fight. But he shouldve given up the belt.
He has shown what is more important to him; he picked a legacy fight to pad his record over a legitimate threat, beating a young hungry champion-level opponent (like he once was) and beating the best. Thats how you become the GOAT.
Which does more for his legacy IMO than beating someone who would have most likely stayed reitred (at 42 years old!) if he hadnt gotten this big money fight.
The whole thing got fucked up when Francis left.
Jon Moved up and fought the top guy in Gane and won.
At that time I dont think aspinal was on anyone radar, so they booked stipe.
Then the flight got delayed a few times.
Letās save the crying until after this fight and see who wins, and if they should fight aspinal next.

My ass, everyone knows full well how the Alex fight would play out. Tom legit has a chance on size and speed alone, so JJ will forever duck him. For a dude that cares so much about his legacy, ducking Tom will hurt it more than any of the accolades heās accomplished. JJ is by far the goat, but heās such a mental bitch at the same time. I dont think its crying when its a majority of ppl (including fighters) saying it and there are countless facts to back that viewpoint.
I also think using the old gloves on Saturday is pretty clear evidence that the outrage is warranted and he IS in fact being shown favoritism. Again.
Yep, just like the fight happening Saturday seems to have an outcome that heavily favors one fighter over the other.
Which shouldnt really ever be the case in a REAL title fight since its usually the two best in the world competing.
Just strip Jones or let him relinquish after Saturday and promote Aspinall to undisputed.
Aspinall vs Pereira and Gane are more stylistically interesting bouts imo.
Let Jones do his random fights against Hill and Lewis if he wants to keep fighting.
Or maybe just maybe Stipe will win, which would be hilarious. But it would probably also mean a rematch and keep the division held up.

I struggled with Bones the man for another reason. Specifically his actions after colliding with the pregant woman. But I believe in redemption and I hope heās not that guy anymore.
I stand by my opinion, however. It would not hurt my feelings for Tom to prove me wrong.
