It makes sense in a clinical setting because you want the people to get off the substances and throwing “it’s all your fault” at them is not the path for that.

It is, however, the objective reality that the substances are not the issue. It is the person.

Not disagreeing Jones is an asshole but I don’t think I’ve come across lots of ”normal” people that decided to spend all day every day practicing for a career in fighting. I kinda think there’s something wrong in their heads that enable them to get so good at fighting, lol, and without it, they’d been full time alcoholics or something like that anyway.

But yeah I don’t understand that either. Funny how when I drink 5 beers I just crack jokes and give hugs. Ol Johnny pops off pistols and beats women. It’s weird. What gives?

Bones saw how forgiving fans were of Dustin “IGBBMN” Poirier so he decided to use alcohol as an excuse for all his fuck-ups.

But let’s be real, alcohol is one of many, many contributing factors to Jones being a habitual fuck-up and spending most of his 30s, the final decade most pro fighters are consistently competitive at an elite level, inactive.
