IMO Ronda could have beaten Holly the same way Tate did if she just played patient and waited for the takedown opportunities. Bullrushing to brawl was the worst possible strategy considering Holm’s best skill was circling out while sticking shots.
I don’t think any version of Ronda ever beats Nunes though.

Yeah I agree. Ronda just kept stalking Holly with her chin up and put her face on a silver platter to get blasted. Terrible striking technique and terrible fight IQ. Holly’s experience in boxing certainly came into play there. I think Ronda has a much better chance with a better IQ, but Holm was and would always be a bad stylistic matchup for her.
No version of Ronda ever beats Nunes. Amanda would pepper her from range and knock her out as soon as she got close.

I find it weird that people think the best version of Rhonda couldn’t beat someone that got subbed by Juliana Pena and dominated by Zingano… if you were arguing that the best Nunes beats the best Rhonda then sure but i still think she has a chance, it would only take one takedown/throw and Nunes would be in huge danger.
I think the mystique Rousey had won her several fights before the fight even started. Her opponents were too nervous to even start the fight. Ironically, she bought into the hype herself, which is probably why she chose to try and strike with Holly.
