Keith Jardine… The Director? New Movie Trailer (Video)

Low key talented and smart dude.

I mean you see him and don’t immediately think of it, but in seeing him work and hearing interviews he’s very versatile.

Teh dean of mean!

Him vs DDP would be the first fight ever stopped due to two suspected seizures in the ring.

The Dean of the Silver Screen Keith Jardine.

Watched the movie this weekend on Amazon… and it was pretty good better than I expected. It definitely could have benefitted from the things that come with a bigger budget and more experience like having more time to polish it, some different acting choices, better effects, but all things considered Keith did a good job juggling so much helming his first one doing the writing, directing, producing and a little acting.

It was well shot and the lead did pretty good too. The story mixed some similar ideas we have seen before but he played it out in a pretty fun way. I would have cut it down a bit too. I saw a few fighters pop up in it like Tait Fletcher, Maurice Green, and Michelle Waterson.

All in all it was really cool to see him challenge himself and as someone who usually doesn’t pay to rent on streaming it made sense to support him here.

It’s currently sitting at a 9.5 on IMDB (72 reviews) and 100% on Rotten Tomatoes having a probably reverse Brendan Schaub effect because people actually like Keith lol
