During a promotional skit at the NBA Finals game between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets, Conor McGregor punched the Miami Heat’s mascot, Burnie, twice. The skit involved a staged fight where McGregor was promoting a pain relief spray. The mascot was taken to the hospital for treatment after the incident.

The incident occurred during a timeout in the third quarter of Game 4 of the NBA Finals. McGregor, who was there to promote his pain relief spray, TIDL Sport, squared off against Burnie, who was wearing boxing gloves. McGregor landed two punches, one while the mascot was standing and another after he fell to the ground. The mascot was then doused with the pain relief spray.

First, he needs the eligibility laws enshrined in the constitution to change so he can actually be a candidate in the upcoming fall election. Then when he wins he wants to change the constitution again so as president can put forward referendums to make sweeping changes to the country. Currently, the president of Ireland is a ceremonial figure with few powers.

Sounds like he’s going to need some powerful and influential (let’s face it) jews to make this happen, in which he would be beholden to them and nothing significant would change. It’s been this way in all western countries for decades now.

Michael Martin, the prime minister of Ireland, has suggested that McGregor should try talking to the 26 county councils to see if he can get the support of 4 before suing to change the constitution.

“I’m not sure he’s asked anybody,” Martin told the press. “In previous elections, people went to county councils and some got nominations from the requisite number of county councils. So the constitution creates a pathway there for people to secure a nomination through that route.”
