Died of a broken heart.

I always get him confused with the crackhead actor who was banging Heidi Fleiss.
Sizemore.
Not sure what assets he had but I remember hearing he had a lot of money issues.
They might as well have been. They played similar kind of characters. Both died in their 60s, both were abusive in their relationships.
RIP to both iconic toxic white male bros
There must be a shit ton of absolutely horrible managers/financial advisors in CA because I have seen so many actors and other entertainers have these kinds of issues. Or maybe they are just stupid and didn’t have anyone advising them, but I see a lot of them sue their former managers for incompetence.
That man lived HARD. I’m surprised he made it this long.
When I was in LA a life ago, I met a producer that made (and he would tell you this) some dogshit straight to video feature and they got Madsen in it. He said his payment was 1st day to set 100 grand cash in a briefcase. Like straight out of a movie😂. Said he was a legend though.
RIP to a legend
Hard to say what kind of salaries he was getting for his films but he’s got over 300 credits. I think he’s pretty well known so I assume he was making decent money. Do you get a few big paychecks, adjust your lifestyle, then assume they’re going to keep coming in?
Or maybe it was just a lot of cocaine.
same.
RIP Bump Bailey.
I’ll never forget his acting in Sin City. It was like he just woke up from a bad nap and the director said read these lines anyway you can immediately
It was almost 20 years ago when Video was still a thing. I couldn’t say🤔. Somebody mentioned Hellride. I can’t remember if that was it…The producer said they let him do whatever he wanted on camera, which basically meant he played himself /same guy in every movie he’s in. Which is probably what you want out of Michael Madsen.
Yeah he looked pretty bad in the last interview I saw of him.. granted he was older but still looked very rough
Ah man I thought Sizemore was a great actor. I remember him getting clean and he was starting to get back into the movie biz but his mind was just not there. His case is one where the addict is permanently damaged from the substance abuse .. meth and stimulants are the ones responsible
“For a male born in 1957, the average life expectancy was approximately 66.5 years. This is based on data from the Social Security Administration. Specifically, the life expectancy at birth for males in 1957 was 66.5 years, while for females it was 72.7 years”.
Madsen was 67. He beat the average.
Would love to see a remake done well. So much potential to be a certifiable genre classic.
lol, always though Micheal and Tom basically played the same type of characters.
Michael Madsen was prime Bruce Willis but without the goofball act.
Dancing in heaven.
RIP.
