Do you mean that sliding front kick he landed on Rudyard Moncayo at UFC 6? We did that in TKD. It’s extremely powerful if you can pull it off. Moncayo wasn’t necessarily trying to take him down and came straight in.

Yes he stuck it out and slid it in.
Also a very stiff teep aswell you could see it in footage of everything be it karate, K1 or MMA
