Jason Thacker
I’d be curious to know how he’s holding up. I read an interview online done about him maybe 12-15 years ago. He wasn’t in a good place. He took a lot of grief back home about his portrayal on TUF and was not in the best mental or financial place. Might be worth trying to track him down for not just an interview, but a wellness check. Always respect to him for giving it a shot. The man stepped in the cage against Chris Leben.
Thacker is such an interesting case.

Based on available information from 2015, Jason Thacker, known from The Ultimate Fighter Season 1, was noted to be difficult to contact directly and was not active in professional MMA. A 2015 GoFundMe campaign was created to support him. The Jason Thacker website listed in search results belongs to a different person.

Interesting. I do see the GoFundMe for Jason from 2015. I also see the piece done in 2015 from MMA Fighting about his then current situation. I was thinking that piece was a little older, but maybe it was 2015. It seems this was the last documented thing done on Jason and that was over a decade ago. I wonder if there would be a way to reach Chuck Mindenhall over at MMA Fighting? It looks like he was the one who put together the piece on Jason back in 2015. Maybe he would have the last known phone number and/or email that was used to contact Jason for this piece?
