Me and Frank trained together. Love the guy.

Came off like a douchebag on TV, but Hughes was the bigger POS.

Dana tried to be Vince at that time and push the face/heel angle but Frank was cool as fuck.

Frank sometimes in interview is like he’s in front of a Senate Hearing … Frank during an interview ‘ I don’t know anything about that’. Frank as a Senator ‘I plead the 5th.

I can already tell Frank is full of shit from the first 20 minutes. Also because I know some of the people he’s talking about, I know he’s either just playing stupid or just trying to make himself sound better.

Thats a good question. He came off believable to me. Trigg is very seasoned to be in public imo so that lends a hand

The thing about Kid getting deported isn’t true. What happened with Kid was simple. His grades in high school weren’t very good, and I think a lot of that was because he didn’t speak English very well. Kid’s father thought that getting into a university here was similar to Japan, where you can talk your way in if you know the right people. But it doesn’t work that way. Especially once Kid learned that college meant he’d have to actually go to class and wouldn’t just be passed along. That’s no knock on Kid, he just wasn’t interested in going to school. He just wanted to wrestle. So because Kid couldn’t get into college, and nobody was willing to give him a scholarship, again due to his grades, he had no reason to stay here, and his father got him into a university in Japan. Also Kid got suspended from wrestling in Japan because he shot a guy who was part of the Yakuza in the face with an air gun or something. Enson had connections and bailed Kid out of trouble, because they wanted to kill him over that. The university he was at and the Japanese wrestling federation didn’t want trouble, so they suspended him for 2 years I think. That was why he got into MMA.

This is straight from one of his high school coaches who I coached with about 15 years ago. Also the timeline with Frank doesn’t match up really.

Oklahoma State got penalized in 1992, Joe Seay got fired and John Smith took over. They were banned from the postseason for one year, 1993, and won the NCAA championship in 1994. Some guys did transfer, but some didn’t. Probably the biggest names that left were TJ Jaworsky who won 3 NCAA titles for North Carolina and Ray Brinzer who was an All American at Iowa. But the Purlers and Alan Fried stayed. So if Frank was at Oklahoma State, which he wasn’t officially, and left, it wasn’t because anyone told him to. Part of why Oklahoma State got penalized was Seay was paying guys like Trigg who weren’t officially full time students or members of the program, they were gray shirts.

So if Frank was at Phoenix College, he would have been there probably in 1993, because the sanctions at Oklahoma State weren’t handed down until the wrestling season had begun in November.

And as a correction to whoever did the interview, Richard Hamilton went to prison because he was messing with some girl who wasn’t 18, did his time, got released and then caught a life sentence about 10 years later for molesting his grandkids. He was not a good guy.

Can you send me the prison information on Hamilton?

I was told from several people that He was also in the witness protection program

they ask him about this?

@Cree8tive

78-YEARS FOR MOLESTING UNDER AGE GIRL

We reported a few months back in Full Contact Fighter, that ex-manger to past UFC fighters Richard Hamilton was arrested on 8 counts of sexual assault. We called Mr. Hamilton back then for his side of the story, but he could not be reached for comment. We received a call back from a spokesperson for Mr. Hamilton who said, “Mr. Hamilton say’s the charges are false and he is innocent! And he is looking forward to his court date to prove it!”

Well the court date came and went and Mr. Hamilton was convicted by a Maricopa County jury of one count of sexual abuse and six counts of sexual conduct with a minor.

Hamilton is looking at 78 years in the slammer, when he will be sentenced June 29.

GLAD You saw that post ^

If you go on the Arizona Department of Corrections inmate search you can find him. Also you can find his appeals on a Google search.

I think him being in witness protection or whatever is something that he told people so they wouldn’t look into his past. I can’t imagine that somebody who was really in witness protection would put themselves front and center on pay per view or become a relatively public figure in the MMA world. It’s possible, but it’s one of those things that you can’t find public information on, and if you asked Hamilton, he’d probably tell you he isn’t allowed to say anything about it. So who knows what the truth really is.

Meanwhile rampage has said racist shit on camera.

“He neva said nuttin to me, but I could tell he was racist”

Brilliant.

Also Trigg sounds off in the interview with Mike about the Pride sale. To think they wouldnt know what contracts were excluded is ridiculous.

Homer Moore started coaching at 1 of the gyms I was coaching at. I never knew how to feel about that guy…

dayum EVAL got some MMA IQ !

I know a couple things, but overall I’m retarded.

Interesting about his interactions with Frank Shamrock. I don’t see Shamrock & Trigg meshing very well.

RAW was so loaded with talent. What a gym. My understanding is Rico Chiapparelli still trains youth wrestling for underprivileged and at risk kids. Maybe someone can confirm this. He won’t work with pros anymore.

Great interview

But lol at Frank saying he didn’t like to talk a lot, He would have talked another 10 hours if he had time.
