shit wonder what debbies doing these days? looks like the whole gamut of Ruas related shit is represented here. wish Chris would post here too if he isnt already

I wonder if the detective can confirm how old Ruas was when he first fought in the UFC. He had a knee injury going into the Smith fight.

I shook hands with Ruas at a Cedar Rapids UFC and was surprised how big his hand was. He wasn’t that tall but his fingers wrapped all the way around my hand and he was all smiles to everyone in the room. Looked like he was genuinely happy to be there and appreciated the fan support.

BEEP
Super Nice Dude to me always

I don’t blame fighters for not posting here. For obvious reasons .. many used to though

Entirely possible but he also used a similar excuse or reason before the Otsuka fight ..

I dont know but he was always a touch older than anyone ever thought for sure and he, like a few of the good ones early on had been already at it for a while before shit took off

shit Id forgotten ruas was there too. bet at that time that was extra cool

Very cool. Genki Sudo and Marc Laimon were just blue belts back then, crazy now to think they were classmates then. Every week it was some A list fight guy going in training and taking classes with us. Back then that was the only place in LA besides the Inosanto Academy even teaching NHB (MMA name wasn’t even around back then) classes.
